The '''War of the Coalition''' was the result of internecine rivalries withing NPO's broader sphere of influence and growing external opposition to that sphere. It pitted a large coalition led by [[One Vision]] and [[the Continuum]] against an alliance comprised of the [[New Polar Order]]'s sphere of influence and the [[Complaints and Grievances Union]]. Although the war ended in a decisive victory for the coalition, its aftermath saw the gradual erosion of NPO's global influence.
