The Salmon Accords is a Non-Aggression Pact between The Pacific and The Kodiak Republic.
Preamble:
The New Pacific Order and the Serene Republic of Kodiak (hereafter together referred to as “the signatories”), certain of their bond over the ideals of community, democracy, and individuality, additionally coupled with a mutual desire for the development of further relations, enter into these Salmon Accords to ensure the continued growth of friendship between their two states.
To this end, the signatories agree to the following:
Article I: Mutual Recognition
- The Kodiak Republic recognizes the New Pacific Order (‘the NPO’), as represented by the Empress, in their absence, the Regent, their appointed successors, and the Senate, as the sole and legitimate government of The Pacific, its onsite territories, and associated offsite holdings.
- The NPO recognizes the Kodiak Republic, as represented by the General Assembly, Chancellor, and other relevant authorities under the Constitution, as the sole and legitimate government of the Kodiak Republic, its onsite territories, and associated offsite holdings.
Article II: Non-Aggression
- The Kodiak Republic and the NPO agree to respect the sovereignty of one another, including abstention from acts of subversion or espionage against one another. This extends to owned territories of both.
- The signatories will share intelligence concerning the continued sovereignty of the other signatory or any threats to it. If not a matter of regional security, the signatories shall share information when prudent.
Article III: Cultural Collaboration
- The two signatories shall strive to regularly invite the other to hosted cultural events, including but not limited to festivals, conventions, and recreational activities.
- These events shall be undertaken with the goal of fostering greater understanding, mutual respect, and friendship between the peoples of the Kodiak Republic and the NPO, and the promotion of common values shared by the signatories.
Article IV: World Assembly Collaboration
- The signatories pledge to support the World Assembly endeavors of the other at their own discretion.
- The signatories are encouraged to communicate between each other on World Assembly affairs, and to foster collaborations on World Assembly Resolutions when possible.
Article V: Addenda
- This treaty shall be considered null and void upon its repeal by either signatory.
- This treaty may be amended with the mutual consent of both signatories.
