Marina first came to NS NPO in 2014, a member of the CyberNations branch to begin with. In 2015 she left CyberNations and NationStates became her primary game. Marina's early involvement was in Media and University rather than internal government. She spent those years as a member of Legio Pacifica as an auxiliary member and rolepalying. She was encouraged to become more active in Legio and from there opened the door to her later position as Senator of Military Affairs (then called Praetor). Marina's involvement in roleplay has been consistent over the years, and her leadership there kept matters functional and smooth. Marina was enfolded into the Gameplay side of NationStates in 2019, when she became an officer. Her work during that time was exceptional enough that she was, post her stint as Vox Populi, appointed Xoriet's successor as Senator of Military Affairs. Her time leading the Legio Pacifica was unquestionably its peak function and activity, professional and strong under her more than competent leadership. Marina was essential in other Senate duties, including overseeing Culture at several points, as well as an advisor in areas of foreign affairs. She retired from Legio leadership on the Senate level in 2022 to become a Senate Advisor.
