This page contains the documentation for Template:From redirect. It includes information about the template, such as usage and categories, and is not displayed when using the template itself.

This template is used to place a note at the top of a page when a redirect leads to it and there may be similar pages that readers were looking for.

Note: the target page will be linked automatically; there is no link in the demo above to prevent a redlink.

To link similar terms when a potentially confusing redirect is not involved, use {{for}}.

Parameters

• first unnamed parameter: the term that redirects to this page.
• second unnamed parameter: a description of the alternate page to link to; defaults to "other uses".
• third unnamed parameter: the alternate page to link to; defaults to "(page name) (disambiguation)".

Example

• Used on "NPO - Strength", {{from redirect|Strength|the NPO motto|New Pacific Order#Motto}} produces:

"Strength" redirects here. For the NPO motto, see New Pacific Order#Motto.
