He had the misfortune of ascending the position just in time for a tentative, wary state of stasis in Gameplay to collapse. As a result, Syberis spent the majority of his tenure trying to keep foreign affairs balanced and intact despite the state of hostilities and aggression against allies and the NPO itself. He was able to secure several treaties ({{NSp|Lazarus}} and the [[United Regions Alliance]] for two) during this time, most notably in that list cementing relations with a region that was once very hostile after a prior NPO scandal.
