Syberis is the Emperor of the New Pacific Order. He was formerly a Pharaoh of and advisor to Osiris.[1] Prior to that he was in the roleplaying community of NationStates. He joined the New Pacific Order in 2022.
Syberis in NationStates
Syberis got his Gameplay start in The Black Hawks, but moved primary activity over to Osiris. He was chosen to succeed New Kervoskia as Pharaoh. During his time there were numerous foreign affairs achievements made. Syberis also during this time authored an essay called "On Sinkerism", which was a reimagining of Francoism in the Sinkers. During his time in Osiris's leadership, he clashed with the New Pacific Order, including during Osiris's membership in the Anti-Pacific Coalition.
Syberis in the New Pacific Order
Syberis joined the New Pacific Order determined to enjoy no jobs and plenty of relaxation and community support. Due to Xoriet's machinations, however, he was asked to serve Deputy of Diplomatic Affairs and then succeeded her as Senator of Diplomatic Affairs.
His time as Senator of Diplomatic Affairs was largely spent trying to pursue the similar goals as Xoriet: balancing power between Raiders and Defenders by remaining independent and seeking to prevent certain regions, which were aggrieved by the Brotherhood of Malice, from fully aligning with Defenders. Over the long-term, most of these efforts failed. In early 2024, we left the Modern Gameplay Compact. Further, events of 2025 would lead to a collapse in the Order's diplomatic position. Through 2022-2024, however, the Order signed several treaties: with Lazarus[2] and the United Regions Alliance[3]. Additionally, he signed non-aggression pacts with The League and Concord[4] and Lone Wolves United.[5]. Internally, Syberis and Ender largely helped keep up internal activity within the Order as much of the rest of the Senate departed or took a step back.
In June 2024, Syberis was named Regent of the New Pacific Order. As Regent, he helped train his successor as Senator of Diplomatic Affairs, Callisto. Xoriet's reign also saw an internal revitalization, which he helped oversee. And the Order signed new treaties with Lone Wolves United[6] and the Augustin Alliance.[7]
Syberis's time as Regent is most marked, however, by the events of The Outback in early 2025. During this time, we and other allies sought to remove and replace the Delegate of the Outback. As a result of these attempts to replace The Outback's Delegate, several treaties were terminated, including treaties with The West Pacific and The South Pacific. Pax Polaris Occidens was also dissolved..
In November 2025, Syberis was named Successor by Marina. He became Emperor in an emergency transition in December 2025.
