The Legio Pacifica is the military of the New Pacific Order. It is one of the largest and most active military organizations in NationStates.
History
In the early days of the New Pacific Order, it did not have a standing military, as it was focused on defending the Order.[1] A People's Militia formed on November 1, 2004[2] after the PRP's allies, USSR, came under attack from the Alliance Defense Network.[3] Mussolandia (the New Duce) served as an early leader of the Militia. In May 2005, a Foreign Legion was formed to fight under the banner of the People's Militia.[4] During the PRP days, the Militia and Foreign Legion took part in engagements in Warzone Europe, Warzone Africa, Warzone Airspace, and Northern Ireland, among others.[5]
