The South Pacific is a Feeder region in NationStates. It claims to be the oldest Game Created Region (GCR) democracy in NationStates. Beginning in 2003, some of the most notable Delegates since the founding of the government included LadyRebels, Goddessness, Fudgetopia, and Tsunamy. The region operates with several branches of government which are headed by the Prime Minister. All positions are elected, and The South Pacific is unique among Feeders in that they also include the gameside residents as valid votes in their major elections. The South Pacific was independent in alignment for many years and has recently formalized the change to a defender regime. Their military, the South Pacific Special Forces, operates purely on defenses.
