The Doom House-NPO was the result of an unprovoked attack on the New Pacific Order. The nominal casus belli offered was that of a preemptive strike against NPO to prevent it from returning to its former power and influence, although the unmet expectation that NPO would enter the ongoing PB-NpO War on the losing side was a likelier motivation.
