The SWISS COVERT CORPS Ranked War was a ranked war fought between the New Pacific Order and the SWISS COVERT CORPS in May 2023.
Prelude
Once matched, the target score was set at net 12,500. NPO had previously used Shaz as a mercenary and was familiar with his immense battle stats. While the SWISS COVERT CORPS wasn't numerically superior to Strength, Shaz and Mansur each had enough battle stats to be able to easily defeat every member in Strength. As such, different tactics would be required to prevent a one sided stomp.
War Progress
The war commenced at 1500 TCT with the SWISS COVERT CORPS taking an early lead, but due to Strength's effective turtling strategy with the help of outside mercenaries, SCC were only able to achieve a lead of less than 700 in the first six hours.
Following an NPO counter attack that pushed Strength's lead out to nearly 1200, the war then settled into a pattern resembling a tug of war. After 24 hours of fighting, the Swiss had taken the lead but only by 200 points. At this point a new development occurred as the target score began reducing by 1% per hour, which meant so long as Strength had a lead advantage then they would win. The fighting would continue for another three days in which Strength members would do occasional pushes to extend their lead before falling back into hospital and staying there with the help of mercenaries.
After 91 hours of back and forth fighting, Strength emerged victorious.
Aftermath
NPO - Strength ranked up from Platinum II to Platinum III and received 12,383 bonus respect, 4,086 points, 1x Heavy Arms Cache, 6x Armor Cache, 4x Medium Arms Cache, and 2x Small Arms Cache.
This was the third victory for the weekend within the Order following NPO - Prosperity's victory in the The Mile High Club Ranked War and NPO - Endurance's in the The United Ranked War. It was also the longest war that Strength had fought. Victory put Strength within striking range of entering the Diamond ranks, and planning for the new diamond push started shortly after.
Following their defeat, Shaz suffered another blow when he was scammed, with his faction being sold out from underneath him for $75 billion and renamed "Wandering Earth".
