History

Planning for a Torn branch began some time before its official opening. Around the same time, events in Politics & War began heralding the end of the Order's time on Orbis. The Torn branch was officially announced to the Body Republic on February 9, 2020.[1] Shortly after on February 12, Pacificans playing P&W were ordered to delete their nations and the Order officially left the game.[2]

Emperor SynysterGates

Emperor SynysterGates and Regent Tiberius were the first to lead the New Pacific Order in Torn.[citation needed] As most Pacificans were new to Torn, the Order did not have established processes and guides to work from; members learned and grew together. Departments were formed as their needs became apparent and duties were finalized. The Council was first formed on June 28, 2020, as a selection of members from different factions forming an extra-departmental think tank. After a period of open recruitment, Military Command was established on July 4, 2020, with High Command added to its ranks on November 27, and further expanded the following March. The Imperial Academy was created on January 22, 2021. It would evolve over the course of the year, and with recruiting added to its duties in July, the department was renamed to Admissions. On February 13, 2021, Pacific Financial was announced. On August 18, 2021, the Intelligence Department was created.

Emperor Imperial Emperor

Emperor Imperial Emperor and Regent Pansy were announced by SynysterGates on November 12, 2021.[3] On November 27, the first Imperial Governors were appointed. On December 15, 2021, NPO joined the Nameless alliance, having been invited after fighting alongside allies who were members.[4] Also in December, ranked warring was released, and NPO - Strength fought and won its first RW at the end of January 2022. On February 26, 2022, the Council was restructured to assist the Imperial Governors per-faction. On April 28, 2022, Nemphesis succeeded Pansy as Regent.[5] In June 2022, the 39th Street Killers XR Ranked War took place, which led to NPO forming a close partnership with the 39th Street Killers family. On July 16, NPO - Peace was opened. Following the Not today, Satan! War in August 2022, NPO departed Nameless.[6] On August 3, 2022, NPO's fourth faction, Endurance, was officially opened.

Emperor Nemphesis

Emperor Nemphesis and Regent Deatvert were announced on January 1, 2023.[7] On January 24, the position of Junior Councilor was added to the Council. On March 7, the Diplomatic Affairs department was created and absorbed the Intelligence Department. The Island War 3.0 took place from June to September of 2023. On October 2, 2023, NPO founded the Legion, along with the 39th Street Killers and other allies, as a sub-alliance of CRyPTo (which NPO were unofficial members of via 39th).[8] On November 11, Legion left CRyPTo and joined with Operation Butterfly Net (OBN).[9] NPO's fifth faction, Valour, was officially opened on December 31, 2023.

Emperor Deatvert

Emperor Deatvert and Regent Selina were announced on January 1, 2024.[10] On May 5, NPO's sixth faction, Serenity, was announced.

Empress Belle

Empress Belle and Co-Regent iat were announced via Discord on July 19, 2024. Selina was retained as Co-Regent.[11] On March 26, 2025, the Diplomatic Affairs department was closed due to its difficulty fitting in the Torn landscape.

Emperor JesseEnd

Emperor JesseEnd announced himself on April 6, 2025.[12] Selina remained as Regent.[citation needed]
